Terms and Conditions


1. GENERAL
1.1. The commissioning of Pet Calls by the Client to carry out Dog Walking, House Sitting or Home Boarding or Pet Visiting assignments, whether verbally or in writing, constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Business.
1.2. Pet Calls is registered under the Data Protection Act and thus undertakes to treat all data about Clients and prospective Clients as strictly confidential, unless all parties agree otherwise.
1.3. The Client is responsible for ensuring that neither the house and its environment, nor the work expected, present any avoidable or unusual risks recognised by the Health and Safety Executive.

2. OUR  AGREEMENT
2.1. Pet Calls agrees to supply Dog Walking, Home Sitting, Home Boarding or Pet Visiting services in accordance with a Brief provided by the Client, which may include the care of pets and other animals owned by the Client, and the maintenance of  house, greenhouse, garden plants and lawns all within reasonable limits.

3. PAYMENT
3.1 The Client agrees to settle Pet Calls' invoice for such services prior to the commencement of the assignment.

3.2 If payment is not received in accordance with these terms of business, Pet Calls will not be obliged to honour any previously agreed arrangements

4. INSURANCE
4.1   Pet Calls, to ensure Client peace of mind, has Public Liability insurance.

4.2  Pet Calls insurance cover only operates for the duration and times of the selected service.
4.3  Where required to drive a Client's car, responsibility for the provision of appropriate insurance cover rests with the Client.
4.4  It is agreed that it is the Client's responsibility to adequately insure the property, its contents and any pets with an insurance company of good repute, and that such insurance shall continue for the duration of this agreement.
5. WALKING
5.1   Your dog(s) will have two walks of at least 20 minutes each day. We can discuss your dog(s) needs before each stay.
6. ENTIRE BITCHES
6.1   Please make sure your bitch is not due in season whilst Boarding at Pet Calls.

6.2  If your bitch comes into season whilst Boarding at Pet Calls, the Client is responsible for settling the resulting invoice from Clean Living Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning.
7. MISCELLANEOUS
7.1 Where exceptional work or non-standard skills and experience are involved e.g. the care of horses, farm animals, aviaries, large gardens, green houses, indoor plant collections, and swimming pools etc., charges will be made according to the level of skill required.  Approximate guides will be provided by telephone and detailed quotations can be supplied.

8. CANCELLATION

NB: Please take out adequate Travel Insurance which covers Travel Disruption as cancellation charges will always apply


8.1  Within 2 weeks of assignment, 100% of full booking costs.
      Within 1 month of assignment, 75% of full booking costs.
      Within 2-3 months of assignment, 50% of full booking costs.
      Within 3+ months of assignment, 25% of full booking costs.


9. BANK HOLIDAYS
9.1 Will be charged at time and a half.
